India banned 59 mobile apps including widely used TikTok, PUBG, Shareit, WeChat, UC browser among others. The ban means that all these apps will sooner or later vanish from the Playstore as well as Apple App store and you will not be able to download them. For users who already have these apps on their mobile some of these apps which do not need internet connection like Camscanner will still continue to work but you will not able to download it afresh.
For apps like TikTok, UC Browser which need an internet connection I am sure the notices will go to internet service providers like Airtel, Jio asking them to stop access to these apps and they will stop the functioning.
